Don't order stuff from Temu!

Post by Rich-Allen1976 » 19 Nov 2024, 18:09

I've had a few bits from them, usually with very few problems, however I was supposed to get a delivery last week, they allegedly tried to deliver (using Evri) yesterday, I was in, but apparently the idiot delivery guy got lost (I am painfully aware that the Flats have never, and probably never will, come up on Satnav but come on!)

Fortunately, Temu have refunded the whole price of the orders but that's beside the point innit? Why do they use the annoyingly incompetent Evri for deliveries?!

I don't beee-lieve it!

I mean isn't Temu a bit of a sketchy site anyway from my understanding?

It's not the site itself that's bad, it's the annoyingly unreliable delivery service, although to be fair, the delivery actually arrived this morning.

Temu is Chinese in origin, and their suppliers are thought to be ripping off other products and making them as cheaply as possible. That is to say...knock offs!

Evri is the distribution company of choice in China, not just for Temu, but e-bay and other online marketplaces, because they are soooooo cheap.

Well yeah but you know what they say "Pay Peanuts and you get Monkeys!" :D

The irony is, a Monkey would probably be better at delivering than the majority of Evri drivers IMO,

Well I closed my account on Temu earlier this week, they keep sending very tempting emails for free stuff, which ends up actually NOT being free.
I don't beee-lieve it!
