my brother and i saw her today and she's doing phenomenally for recovery!

I'm sorry. My step mom had too birds a mother and son. Both died some years ago. The mom when they let her out she'd land on my shoulder and started to sing. We'd give her a treat and she'd sit on tiur shoulder then start to sing again. The son only trusted my stepmom. Though sometimes he'd sing with my dad. Me he'd hiss why I don't know.

went to a ren faire like a weekend ago

was fun! even managed to win a prize

i won a pathfinder core set book from a raffle, and now i have to set up a pathfinder group, so sayeth the universe

9 or so weeks later, our other parakeet, luna, died

we have no more birds, and i like to think luna died of loneliness so she could go meet sol in bird heaven
