Hacking Attempt on Animeleague Websites [Updates]

As you may already be aware, yesterday the websites got hacked. As a precaution, we took down the sites and have been working on identifying and patching the security breach.

We will continue our investigations, but to be clear any passwords on our server are securely encrypted which ensures that even in the event of a hack this data is watertight so your security is safe. We can also reassure everyone that functional card data is also not recorded. At Animeleague, we have always been extremely careful to record the minimal amount of data, and to encrypt anything potentially damaging such as the above exactly because of risks such as these. This is an industry standard which we uphold as part of our duty of care to yourselves to keep you protected.

If there is any further information, we will let you know, but hopefully we will see no further problems. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Some people will do anything for a few quid, including nick owt that ain't nailed down, some people would even nick tne nails.

Jesus, hacking for a couple of quid, sounds like these idiots have no life, it's more to do with jealousy knowing that they most likely have nothing else to do, or have nothing at all

Ah, I see what you mean, technically, the more they steal a user's personal and private data and information, the more they earn?
