'Twas eons ago when I first got online with my 386 in 98 and joined IRC and I needed a nickname I just looked around in the room and saw one of my dads kegs, you know those like 5 liter small kegs and I don't remember the brand but it had a quote "The real beer keg". So I just figured "Huh, Beerkeg.... i like it" and been rolling with it since.

well, before I changed it to my own IRL name, my original user was just based off a Secret boss from Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, which is a modified and powered up version of Kirito's AI. "Hollow" refers to the Hollow Area and all AIs there are referred to as "Hollow"

I also go by ShadowEspeon on some of my older accounts before I ever played SAO:HF. "Shadow" actually isn't Shadow the Hedgehog. neither is it to do with Shadow Pokemon in the 2 Gamecube Pokemon games, though it does fit. "Shadow" was a reference to a character in a kids' Anime Adaptation I was borderline obsessed with when I was 15-16 years old lol

I honestly don't remember; I used to go by XxSqualxX (hence my PSN username that I cannot change...!). When I got to Uni I decided to setup a whole new XBL account as my old one had very little GS and I wanted to see how much GS I could accumulate throughout my university (turns out quite a bit as I left uni with 40K ) I think my old Xbox account still exists but it only had 2-3k GS Regardless, setup my new account 'Toshioa' whilst I was at uni and I did literally pluck the name from the air All I remember thinking for 'Yoshi' because there was a green Yoshi plushie in our shared living room that belonged to a house mate...
