tbh i've watched MORE anime in my life than i have read manga, but i drastically seem to prefer to stick to a series when it's a manga, as evidenced by finishing both bleach and naruto in manga format
i'd suppose i prefer manga then, i guess maybe it's just the self paced nature of it, plus i can see and imagine the action myself rather than having to watch subtitles the entire episode
manga or anime? what's your preference?

Thank you for adding an option for me.
Also,
Dub animu > sub animu > manglow
The one true order. Reading is garbo.

Love both but if I really had to choose, then anime it is since I don't need to move my hands or arms turning the pages.
Besides, for action scenes, animes are better since they let me view the scenes in a fluid manner.
For example, the battle scenes in Fairy Tail or the competition scenes in Slam Dunk.
Especially loved the scene where Sakuragi made his first dunk. Got that particular image printed onto a canvas.

I started with Manga, then came across a few anime - Akira, Project Ako, The Ultimate Teacher, Speed Racer, etc - and despite all that, got hooked.
