I was in rr for a little while I was more into cityscape then anything. Cityscape was a fun place I miss it.

its finally over!
i cant recall how much i did or did not share on here...
but in january of 2024 some drunk asshat did a hit and run on my wonderful uncle (whom i would spend holidays with) and it resulted in his death
trial finally just ended and the drunk asshat plead and was found guilty
so thats done with and we can all move on now

in other news, work might be eliminating my shift on Monday
which would cause some chaos and might mean i need a new job...? idk we shall see
not a great weekend for me, but shit happens

this'll be a lot

had run out of migraine meds beginning of last week, they said could have more in 1-2 days and I just now got them....soo been dying of migraines a lot
but at least thats done now

they are eliminating my shift at work
because of union contract, ill still have a job
i just will be placed on first or second shift based on seniority
except mine isnt good, despite over 5 years there
so should be second shift, gross
so, also looking for other jobs but not a lot out where i live so we shall see

my estranged father is in the hospital
i know this because his ex-fiancé is apparently not wanting to make medical decisions for him, so shes been harassing me to take over for her
she has now enlisted the help of my dads sister, to also harass me
i say dads sister instead of aunt because in my 30+ years of life i have seen her once for about 30 mins
i totally get it if the ex doesnt want that responsibility anymore
im sure she left for the same reasons my mom left, the same reasons my sister is full non contact with him and the reason i am low contact but might have to become non contact too
but if ex doesnt want to do it, thats fine, but also does not make it my problem either
it sounds as if he has had many many medical issues over the years (i say sounds because anytime i would ask he would ignore me or change the subject)
but i really cannot take on responsibility, as it would be the same as asking me to make calls on an acquaintance
so now i jump at every call, text, or message as they find new ways to reach me to
to clarify, when ex first reached out, she made it sound like he had minutes left to live so i did call the hospital
the nurse actually laughed, because he was stable and sleeping and awaiting a procedure
so while this latest medical bit seems serious enough for hospital, he isnt about to die
nurse and doctor both agreed to call me if it does get to that point
but until then, im trying to stay out before i get saddled again with all of his crap and complications
i really do not wish him pain or illness or death, but i also wish to be left out of it
